  1. About these terms
    These Terms & Conditions set the basis on which we sell products via our website. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Your statutory rights under UK law are not affected.

  2. Placing an order & contract formation
    • You place an order by completing checkout and submitting payment.
    • We’ll email an order confirmation. The contract is formed when we accept your order (usually when we send the dispatch email).
    • If we can’t accept your order (for example, pricing or stock error), we’ll refund any payment taken.

  3. Payment
    • Cards & wallets: Pay by card or supported digital wallets. Your card is usually charged before dispatch.
    • Security: Payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments and PayPal. We don’t store full card details.
    • Orders may be subject to anti-fraud checks.

  4. Processing & delivery
    • Processing time: usually 1–6 working days (Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:00).
    • We ship with trusted carriers (e.g., Post Office Drop & Go, DHL). Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates.
    • We’ll post any service interruptions or delays on our website and social channels.

  5. Right to cancel (change of mind)
    • You can cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving the goods.
    • After telling us you’re cancelling, you have another 14 days to send items back.
    • We refund the item price and your basic/standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the goods or proof of posting (whichever is earlier).
    • You pay return postage for change-of-mind returns unless we say otherwise. If we provide a prepaid label, we may deduct its cost from your refund.
    • If items were handled more than necessary to check their nature/characteristics, we may deduct for diminished value.

  6. Items excluded from change-of-mind returns
    • Personalised or custom-configured products (e.g., NFC items engraved or encoded to your specification).
    • Sealed goods not suitable for return for health/hygiene reasons if unsealed after delivery.
    (If an excluded item is faulty, your rights in Section 8 still apply.)

  7. Faulty items — your legal remedies
    • Within 30 days of delivery you can reject a faulty item for a full refund.
    • After 30 days and within 6 months you’re entitled to a repair or replacement; if that’s not possible or not done in a reasonable time, you can claim a price reduction or refund.
    • Remedies are free of charge and should be provided without significant inconvenience.
    To start a claim, email contact@smartnflex.com with your order number and a description/photos of the issue.

  8. Our voluntary warranty (in addition to your rights)
    We provide a 24-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Once approved, we aim to ship a replacement within 72 hours (subject to stock and courier times). The warranty doesn’t cover accidental damage, misuse, or normal wear. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

  13. Product information & customisation
    • Colours and finishes may vary slightly from images.
    • For NFC products, you are responsible for any information you encode. Don’t encode sensitive personal data.

  14. Limitation of liability
    We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or negligence. We don’t exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so (e.g., death or personal injury caused by negligence, or breach of your statutory consumer rights).

  15. Privacy & data protection
    We use your personal data to take payment, fulfil orders, provide support, prevent fraud and comply with the law (Contract, Legitimate interests, Consent for non-essential cookies/marketing, and Legal obligation as applicable). Payments are handled by Shopify Payments and PayPal; we don’t store full card numbers. We may share necessary data with couriers and service providers under contract.   16. Events outside our control
    We aren’t responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control. We’ll minimise impact and keep you updated.

  17. Changes to these Terms
    We may update these Terms from time to time. The version shown at checkout when you order applies to that purchase.

    Contact contact@smartnflex.com or write to the address above. If we can’t resolve a dispute, you may have rights to use alternative dispute resolution.

  19. Governing law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
